How to set up IPTV UK on a smart TV
Samsung, LG and other smart TVs can run IPTV straight from their built-in app stores, with no stick or box required. Pick one of the players below, install it from your TV's store and add your WildBreed login in a few minutes.

- Beginner friendly
- Help on WhatsApp
Before you start
You will need your TV connected to the internet, access to its app store (LG Content Store, Samsung Apps or Google Play on Android TV), and your WildBreed login. Some TV apps also ask you to use a phone or computer for one step, so keep one nearby.
- Your WildBreed login from WhatsApp. No subscription yet? Get a free 24-hour trial or choose a plan.
- A steady connection: about 10 Mbps for Full HD, 25 Mbps for 4K.
Apps
Best IPTV apps for smart TVs
Do not use IPTV Smarters Pro on a smart TV. The smart TV version of IPTV Smarters is no longer supported and no longer works reliably. Use one of the apps below instead.
Paid apps run better on smart TVs. They are more stable on TV hardware and get regular updates. XOTT is a solid free option to start with if you would rather not pay.
Got an Android TV?. Install the free Downloader app from Google Play, then follow our Firestick guide or Android guide to add any player.
About the paid apps. IBO Player Pro, Hot Player and Bob Player each come with a free trial, so you can add your playlist and test properly before paying the app maker.
Search for XOTT in your TV's app store and install it.

Search for IBO Player Pro in your TV's app store and install it.
App fee: about €8 (roughly £7) for life, with a 7-day free trial, paid to the app maker and separate from your WildBreed subscription.

Search for Hot Player in your TV's app store and install it.
App fee: €5.99 a year or €14.99 for life, with a 30-day free trial, paid to the app maker and separate from your WildBreed subscription.

Search for Bob Player in your TV's app store and install it.
App fee: about €8 a year or €13 for life, with a free trial, paid to the app maker and separate from your WildBreed subscription.
How to log in on your smart TV
Your login is in the WhatsApp message we send when your order or trial is confirmed. Find your app below and follow its steps.
XOTT
- Open XOTT and choose to add a playlist or log in.
- Enter the login from your WildBreed message: username, password and server URL.
- Save, and your channels load. If XOTT asks for anything you do not have, message us and we will set it up with you.
IBO Player Pro, Hot Player and Bob Player (MAC address and M3U link)
- Open the app on your device. It shows your MAC address, and IBO also shows a Device Key.
- On your phone or computer, open the app's playlist page:IBO Player Pro playlist pageHot Player playlist pageBob Player playlist page
- Enter the MAC address, plus the Device Key for IBO, exactly as shown on screen.
- Choose Add playlist, then M3U, and paste the M3U link from your WildBreed message.
- Give the playlist any name and press Save.
- Restart the app on your device, and your channels appear.
Hot Player has two separate pages, so do not mix them up: Upload is where you paste your M3U link (free during the trial), and Activation is where you pay for the app once you have tried it and want to keep it. Hot Player activation page

Troubleshooting IPTV on Smart TV
I can't find the app in my TV's store
App stores differ by brand, model year and region. Search for the exact app name; if it does not appear, try the next app in the list, or message us with your TV model and we will tell you which one works.
The app asks for a MAC address or device key
That is normal for IBO Player Pro, Bob Player and Hot Player. The TV shows both on screen, and you type them into the app's playlist page on your phone or computer along with your M3U link.
The paid app stopped after its trial
Paid players stop at the end of their free trial until you activate them on the app maker's website. That fee goes to the app developer, not to WildBreed, and your subscription keeps running either way.
The picture stutters on my TV
TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a phone's. Try an Ethernet cable, move the router closer, or choose the FHD version of a channel instead of 4K.
Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp with your device, the app you are using and a photo of any error, and we will sort it out with you.
Questions
Smart TV IPTV FAQ
Not any more. The smart TV version of IPTV Smarters is no longer supported, so use XOTT, IBO Player Pro, Hot Player or Bob Player from your TV's app store instead.
Usually, yes. Paid players such as IBO Player Pro, Hot Player and Bob Player are updated more often and run more smoothly on TV hardware. Each has a free trial, and the one-off fee goes to the app maker, not to WildBreed.
Then you have more choice. Install the free Downloader app from Google Play and follow our Firestick or Android guide to add any player, including the free ones.
