Cookie policy
What this site stores in your browser, what it is for, and how to change your mind.
Last updated: 15 September 2026
The short version
wildbreed.uk sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics unless you choose "Accept all" on the cookie banner. The only thing stored by default is your cookie choice itself, so we do not keep asking.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Local storage is a similar space in your browser that only this site can read. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we may only use them without asking when they are strictly necessary for something you have requested. Anything optional needs your consent first, and you can withdraw it at any time.
What this site uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Basis | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| wildbreed-consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies | Strictly necessary | Until you clear it or change your choice |
| Analytics | Cookies | Not in use. If we add analytics later it will only start after you choose "Accept all", and this table will list it | Consent | — |
Third-party services
- WhatsApp and Telegram: when you tap a chat button you leave this site, and their own privacy and cookie policies apply.
- YouTube: any video is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com and only loads after you press play. YouTube may set its own cookies from that point.
- gramme-tv.net: a small script that keeps our WhatsApp number up to date. It sets no cookies, but like any file fetched from the web, that server receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
How to change your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to see the banner again and pick a different option. You can also clear or block storage in your browser: see the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Blocking storage will not break the site; you will simply see the banner on every visit.
